Representative Professional Activities and Achievements

Jen Stevenson joined the law school in 2011 and is also the Associate Director of the LL.M. in the American Legal Studies Program. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Law with high honors (Top 5%) and served as an Articles Editor for the Washington Law Review. Professor Stevenson received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Washington and worked for several years in research and program evaluation in the areas of mental health and substance abuse.


After graduating from the University of Washington School of Law, Professor Stevenson practiced at Perkins Coie LLP, a full-service, international law firm in Seattle, Washington for 9 years. Her practice focused on real estate transactions and estate planning. She also served as a volunteer attorney for the Northwest ImmigrantsÂ’ Rights Project, Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice and the Holocaust Survivors Pension Project.

Professor Stevenson is a frequent international traveler. She recently visited Baku, Azerbaijan, Muscat, Oman and Izmir, Turkey.
