Representative Professional Activities and Achievements
Christopher L. Griffin, Jr. received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in International Political Economy from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Following graduation, he completed the MPhil in Economics at Oxford as an Allbritton Scholar. Before attending law school, Griffin worked as a research associate at Yale Law School and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. A graduate of Yale Law School, Griffin received the Margaret Gruter Prize for the best paper on law and bioscience and was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics and a Coker Teaching Fellow. He also served as an Editor of the Yale Law Journal and Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law & Policy Review.
Prior to joining the William & Mary Law School faculty in 2012, Griffin was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Duke Law School. His research interests include empirical analysis of employment discrimination law, criminal procedure, and judicial decision-making.Scholarly Publications
