Representative Professional Activities and Achievements

Eric H. Joss is a former partner with Paul Hastings LLP. He joined Paul Hastings in 1976 and spent the next 35 years there representing, advising and training clients and others in all aspects of labor and employment law. Among other professional recognition he has received, he has been elected as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, and has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer.

Mr. Joss received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany (summa cum laude) in 1973, and his J.D. degree from the Columbia University School of Law in 1976, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an articles editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems.

Since 2012 and 2016, respectively, Mr. Joss has been a Consulting Advisor in the Office of Career Services and an Adjunct Professor at the William & Mary Law School.
